Yes but as someone who took his course, I felt glaring omissions by being too pro US. And vastly under estimating the risks of California. I mean look at general state of the US right now… people looking to flee in droves

I’m curious @alexsteffen.bsky.social if you’ve changed your stance on America in light of all happening there. Seems to be one of the smartest things one can do to ruggedize is to get out of the US but I feel like you don’t often address that…

I want to be clear that when Wall Street talks about a potential recession, they mean for the wealthiest in America.

Everyone else has already been in a recession for some time.

The fate of our wealthiest & our poorest have been further separated by design in this modern era.

according to all known science, the first 100 years (statistically 73.49 years to be exact) of one's own life are the hardest.

After that, according to science, it gets a WHOLE lot easier.

According to religion, it depends...

COP29 has concluded with - as usual - more than we had before and less than what we needed.

The financing plan is voluntary and in the past, wealthy countries have under contributed.

there is so much truth in this. I feel like we've lost sight of the goal at times. so many people complaining "ugh, elon / bezos the worst" while ordering prime from their tesla in the driveway...
