Need an introspective look back on what you’ve learned. Dorothy. Happy you’re here but need to know you will listen to voices (who were right) that you once dismissed or refuted as alarmist.

Remember the FBI agents who took over the Nakatomi building territorist response? Same vibe.

It's also wild that this hasn't ended Trump's presidency immediately. We used to be a serious country, where things mattered. Or maybe we never were, & it's just the mask being fully ripped off. Hard to tell, frankly. Observationally equivalent.

Hi folks. Just to be clear, a date has not yet been announced for the next No Kings. If a PAC you’ve never heard of asks for donations to “organize” it, please block and report them

@gtconway.bsky.social —happy to see you’ve decided to make change from within. Being that you’ve decided to run as a D —we who have been fighting for change for decades as Dems will need to see some reflection/contrition on your part in the “we told you so” dept. Happy to have you; make it genuine.

Just watched the 60 Minutes segment. Basically it debunks the fundamental claim used by Trump admin that the detainees it sent there are “terrorists” and corroborates torture using clips from El Salvadorean influencers Bukele uses internally. Would be a shock to low information voters, probably

In case you're unclear on what JD Vance is trying to do here maybe it will help to recall Italian writer Ignazio Silone's 1938 description of what fascism is:

“Fascism is a counter-revolution against a revolution that never took place.”

More of this please …
“What is wrong with you? Have you no compassion for an aged man suffering from dementia?”

Make JD, Mike, Pete, Marco speak within the frame of reality. They can’t live in reality AND defend any of this.

Were there moments that you missed? Anything that happened that’s on the cutting room floor?
I don’t think there’s anything I missed that I wish I’d gotten. I’ll give you a little anecdote: Stephen Miller was perhaps the most concerned about the portrait session. He asked me, “Should I smile or not smile?” and I said, “How would you want to be portrayed?” We agreed that we would do a bit of both. And then when we were finished, he comes up to me to shake my hand and say goodbye. And he says to me, “You know, you have a lot of power in the discretion you use to be kind to people.” And I looked at him and I said, “You know, you do, too.”
