Congrats to Dr. Rachel Torres, Dr. Juan Hernandez, Dr. Adam Gaweda, and Dr. Cheri Levinson on their new publication in Journal of Affective Disorders! They're exploring really innovative ways to improve mental health using AI.
Interest in psychological research, experiences working with clinical populations, strong technical and computer skills, and a commitment of at least 2 years (extendable depending on fit and availability of funding).
Duties: communicating with clinic research sites and participants, assisting with project design, organization, data collection, grant applications, entering and coding data, supervising RAs, maintaining databases, purchasing supplies, and general organizational activities.
Ideal candidates:
📍Bachelor’s in psychology or related field
📍Prior research experience (required)
📍Strong organization, communication, and technical skills (SPSS, REDCap, etc.)
2- test a digital, self-guided treatment for eating disorders. The goal is to establish it as an evidence-based, widely accessible intervention that can improve outcomes and reduce the overall burden of eating disorders.
The coordinator will assist with 2 large randomized controlled trials: 1- working to build a new precision treatment for eating disorders and identify how individual treatment mechanisms relate to public health outcomes, individual disease burden and medical comorbidities.
This position is ideal for someone interested in pursuing graduate study in clinical/health psychology. In addition to gaining fundamental research experience and skills, there are ample professional development opportunities and mentorship available.
