The Departmental Seminar on Communication and Media Theory has officially commenced at Department of Languages and Mass Communication Kathmandu University School of Arts, Hattiban, Lalitpur.

BMS 3rd-year students visited Radio Sagarmatha, the first community radio station in South Asia. During their visit, they participated in the radio program 'Aajaka Kura' with Deepak Aryal, where they shared their thoughts and experiences as youth and radio listeners."

Ms. Ekku Maya Pun, Dean of Kathmandu University School of Arts, delivered the closing remarks at the "Symposium on Social Support for Online Sexual Crime Victims" emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in addressing this critical issue.

Amrita Poudyal, Country Director of ECPAT Nepal, highlights crucial official and civil initiatives to support victims of online sex crimes at the "Symposium on Social Support for Online Sexual Crime Victims."

Professor Sun Kang from the Department of Police Science at Suwon Science College, South Korea, presented on the psychological shock of online sex crimes and emphasized the crucial role of social support in the victims' recovery process.

Today, our BMS 3rd-year students attended an insightful guest lecture for the MEDS 311: Development Communication course.
on "Bridging Theory and Practice: Insights into Development Communication in Nepal's Local Governance."

A prepatory meeting was held today with Professor Kang Sun, Associate Professor Dr. Sudhamshu Dahal, and team for the upcoming Seminar on "Symposium on Social Support for Online Sexual Crime Victims", scheduled to take place on 28th January.
