At an art museum, reading about a sculpture that was rejected by its commissioners because they didn’t like the male subject’s facial expression.

Iran is still sitting on a big stockpile of bomb-grade uranium. This new 60 Minutes segment explores how the US might remove it, cooperatively (as we've done elsewhere) or by force (much more difficult).
"Consumers don’t just tolerate small businesses – increasingly, they choose them as a reaction against big corporations.
Small businesses fill a void that big businesses don’t. Big companies scale efficiency. Small businesses scale relevance."

I was working for a member of Congress in 1994 when Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard testified to a House committee about Ticketmaster prices. Every intern on Capitol Hill tried to get into that session. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lR8U...

We just got the first numbers showing economic effects of the war in Iran. Headline inflation is up sharply, and there's more to come. Stay tuned.

David Haskell's new book, How Flowers Made Our World, is a great read anytime of year, but especially for spring. Highly recommended if you're into gardening, plants, Earth history and/or the weirdness of life 🌎 🧪

Booking a kid as a UAM costs extra, so I doubt the airlines will do it for free.
This is what makes people hate airlines.
I get it, but even if the parent is trying to game the system, try to have a care for the kid -- it's not their fault.
This does happen, and it's maddening when you've prepaid for seats together.
FYI, families may book seats together and get separated anyway (flights are canceled and rebooked, planes are switched, etc). It happened to us more than once when our girls were small. We bought drinks for several kind people who helped us avoid sticking worried 8-year-olds between two strangers.
Hegseth is reveling in death AND making money on it. Doubly shameful.
what did JD vance do now
Hegseth would be right in place during the Crusades

"Streets of Minneapolis" picks up the baton from Peter Gabriel's "Biko," Dylan's "Hurricane" and "Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll," Arlo Guthrie's "Victor Jara," Springsteen's own "41 Shots," and any number of Woody Guthrie songs. Say their names.
