To my non tech normies, PSA: when you share a link, everything after the ? is tracking. Those “query parameters” tell companies exactly how you arrived, what app you clicked, which ad or email sent you, sometimes a unique identifier tied to you. You can delete everything after the question mark.

A pair of statues in front of a window at the Denver Art Museum. They could be a couple. They might not be happy with each other. It seems a reasonable image of the moment in the Comms procedure referred to by Dr Jonathan E Flowers while Houston was troubleshooting the nonstart of the satellite phone (?) between the Artemis II astronauts and the Navy Recovery Team.

100% concurr with KC. I'll add that not a single voter currently knows what Democrats will do should they win the House or Senate. Not one thing and we're halfway into April. Not a single thing outlined. Nothing for voters to rally FOR.

U.S. Government Moves Toward Automatic Registration for Military Draft For decades, draft-eligible men ages 18 to 25 have been required to register with the Selective Service System. Most states offer a registration option on driver’s license applications.

The government agency that keeps a list of draft-eligible men will begin automatically registering names later this year, abandoning a decades-old requirement that they register themselves. Here’s what to know.

I'm not sure about you, but I think the collapse of US hegemony, a global price spike and recession, and a new ground war in the Middle East are far worse than drag queens reading books at the library.

I submitted a comment to protect Chaco Canyon.

“We have other options for energy. This site is historic for all of humanity. It is the remains of an early human settlement. A settlement that was built to persist and communicate to us millennia later.

Once destroyed it cannot be recovered.”

Chaco Canyon is sacred. As the Trump Admin rushes to push through oil and gas leasing in the greater Chaco Landscape—they announced yesterday that they will give only ONE WEEK for public comment on removing protections for this sacred place. Make your voice heard! NO to drilling in Chaco Canyon! ⬇️

Literally every app and website I use has gotten significantly less user friendly and less reliable once AI is added to the mix.

Every. Single. One.
