A thing that happens way more than you think in Ireland is that I'm so polite people assume I'm Canadian.
You know, just in case you were wondering what the image of Americans is abroad.

It's great to spend $100 to have that realization too.
This is just perfect!
Uh oh. I've had a few drinks, and I'm from Michigan, so I guess it's time to listen to Bob Seger and think about the town I grew up in!
If you can't find me in the morning I've gone down to the crick on the far side of the woods and thought about how old I've gotten.
I'd love Magnus if you're able to mail to Ireland!
This is a proud man from the Midwest.
Watching THE GREEN KNIGHT again
The best category of Christmas song is: "It's 1962 and we're all a bit drunk."
I'm like a cool noir detective who chews his aspirin.
Except instead of aspirin it's antacid.
And instead of the reason being a bender it's because I had some red sauce on my pasta.
I just called my dog the wrong name completely accidentally. She came up to me and I said, "Come on up, Tammy."
Her real name?
Potato.
I didn't think I had any toxic masculine traits until my wife pointed out to her family that I don't own any jackets with hoods.
When my brother in law asked what I did when it rained I said: "Get wet like a cool person."
I know! I cackled along with everyone else! But the stretch where Alex' sweet home life was replaced with alternating absent and violent parents hit PRETTY CLOSE TO HOME.
I have a lot of feelings about that movie! Mostly it just made me SO SAD.
My children have a bunch of Imaginext Superheroes, and always put Captain Atom in with the bad guys, proving that even 3 year olds can predict the ending of Armageddon 2001.
Real ones know
I have been in the civil service for so long now that I'm not even sure how much of what I write in any given things IS jargon. Definitely a lot. Maybe more than half? Tough to say.
Giant sloth! Ultimate friend shaped animal.
An underrated thing about Star Trek is that they all write in their little diaries everyday. Very mindful space behavior.
When I think about how easy it would have been for me to become a rock-a-billy guy if my social circle in high school had just been SLIGHTLY different a chill runs down my spine.
This is my favourite William Carlos Williams poem.
Oooh, I'll check that out.
Thank you guys so much!
Lete add a detail or two: I live in a Dublin suburb, with medium good cycle infrastructure. The eldest can cycle a K or 2 at a go, but no farther, and most extra curriculars are farther.
I have a Babboe City acoustic, and am comfortable with a fair bit of bike wrenching.
Sorry, I might have missed a step: BBSHD?
Money definitely is a factor, but it can be flexible.
That could definitely work. I'm on a Babboe City acoustic, so I might need to diy it.
That's true, but I live in Ireland. The eldest can cycle to school, but not as far as to music class or football or barbershop. I'm looking for a solution that bridges the gap.
Kids are getting a little big to be sitting next to each other in the cargo bike. Also, an acoustic cargo bike is fairly limited in range that I can take them, as it's heavy fully loaded.
What are the good larger box cargo bikes? Should I look at using an ebike conversion kit on my current bike?
Among the greatest promotional photos of all time are these for the 1990 television movie of IT, where it looks like a prestige legal drama about a firm of hot young lawyers and one associate who likes to dress up like a clown.
We currently have a Babboe city that I use for school runs and general moving kids around. We're in Ireland too, so having the rain cover to help them stay dry in the winter is pretty necessary.
