Like… ok go play marvel rivals the copy of a years old game that just slaps marketable ip on it and calls it a day… sooooo much better. It’s not fresh or new at all. For all its faults overwatch has solid gameplay and a really cool futuristic aesthetic. Rivals brings nothing exciting to the table.
People who are like "oh I'm switching to marvel rivals cuz overwatch sucks" are so funny like ok swap to the bigger media conglomerate who copied a game style and threw in marketable characters. Overwatch 2 is a pretty lame excuse for a sequel but at least it’s based around original characters.
I think we need to start a campaign to just stop the game awards and make it a new game announcement thing run by anyone else because the fact that A. The GOTY nominees are so awful and B. The “fan vote” award kicked out the like 5 best games of the year is bs. That’s not fans voting it’s COD kids.
