Our Druid Misty Stepped to the fleeing Strahd and tagged him with a Guiding Bolt, which allowed my Paladin to tag him with the Sun Blade for a crit. With a 3rd-level Smite, it came to 16d8 +5 Radiant damage :D :D

Our party had done *most* of the side quests, so we were kitted up pretty well. Our Cleric had the Holy Symbol of Ravenkind and my Dragonborn Paladin had the Sun Blade.

We found Strahd in his parents' tomb and nearly did the deed there, but he managed to escape to the crypt...
