Songs/Year on My iPhone (Vol. 2) Seven years ago, I counted the number of songs from each year in my digital music collection. Since then, I've added many songs to my library, in part because I currently have a weekly radio show. So I've updated the chart. While I still buy vinyl, I listen to digital music most of the time. It's so much more convenient, and while the sound may not match the richness of a fine slab of 70's vinyl on an expensive system, in most cases it's not bad, not bad at all. And it's infinitely easier to carry to the radio station and put away after the show is over.
