When you see Gemini's lips moving as it comes up with its response, and hear it muttering to itself under its breath. Including the lack of a space after "core difference.". (Brazil was not mentioned at any point up to here.)

For the first time today, I ate in a restaurant where a robot brings the food to your table. The waiter then just takes it from the trays to serve you. It's actually brilliant because it eliminates the carrying and not-dropping stuff part, enabling people who are not especially dextrous to be hired.
Link doesn't work for me. 🤷♂️
Typo: "is that damned hard".
Also, period needed after "loathe)".

Also, Spain's excellent health system is close to a carbon copy of the NHS.
Presumably to be called "Eh-I".
I recently got a Win11 PC and was expecting the worst, but it's exactly like Win10 if you use a local account (don't log in to OneDrive or Edge) and remove the bloatware, for which there are many tips online. I don't think there is any trace of Copilot on this machine at all.
Although he at least avoided blaming the Executive Officer. "It was all caused by Number Two".
Well, he clearly had more than just a leak.
I'm a bit surprised that it isn't simply "Must have the right to work legally in Switzerland". This would appear to discriminate against EU citizens. But maybe the subtleties of the EU–CH treaties allow this.
The great thing about this video is that by opening with "I'm sure you've seen Donald Trump's unhinged post from this morning" the author ensures that it can be played every day for the next 33 months.
The European mind cannot comprehend this.
Donald Trump as Dr Nick Riviera from The Simpsons
Hi everybody! I'm Dr Don Riviera, the world's worst doctor!
I wonder how much they will get when they sell off the palace that he had built?
I think it means not providing Hungary's share, which pro rata to population would be about €1 billion. Fair enough - Hungary needs a lot of EU money itself to undo the damage done by Orbán (including embezzling lots of previous EU money).
But that's a swing from a poll to the election, not from one election to the next. Still impressive, of course, but not the same thing at all. Real election swings are rarely more than 10%. The main swing in the Canadian 2025 election was the collapse of the NDP vote.

Average GOP Congressman: We err...uhhh...don't uh need uh...oversight of the DoD because uh...we trust the President to decide what's best
Donald Trump: I AM JESUS CHRIST RETURNED TO EARTH THE POPE ISN'T MAGA AND HE'S WEAK ON NUCLEAR WEAPONS I AM GOING TO BUILD A HOTEL ON THE MOON
What even is foreign policy if you're the Pope? Deciding whom to appoint as your next Ambassador to Hell?
When an election candidate "concedes" to their opponent, does that ever actually mean anything? Have there been cases of someone conceding, then finding that they actually won, and their concession was then held against them? I'm just trying to work out why anyone would concede. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Presumably there was no calculator app to add 1.5 to 3.5 and get 5. 😂😉
What is the scam?
I guess it could be "You send us money and we don't do any landscaping", but that doesn't seem particularly weird.
Back when I was a "computer guy" in the 1980s I took 2 planes each way to go to a customer site where our support tech had written a DCL (VAX/VMS) command file to drive a plotter, but the device name was missing a colon. I literally changed TXA3 to TXA3: and took 2 more planes back home.
Was there even a Polymarket on "US to blockade Straits of Hormuz"?
We can get right onto that after we've perfected ranking universities against each other.
Thesis: When professors were UGs they were part of the minority who actually enjoyed learning stuff. That's how they became profs. They like to imagine that their students are all like that, and have difficulty dealing with the idea that the (probably large) majority DGAF and just want the diploma.
For our new BBC podcast, Top Comment, we spoke to a representative of Explosive Media, one of the key accounts generating these clips. He wanted us to refer to him as Mr Explosive.

Of course he does. Who wouldn't want to be referred to as Mr/Ms/Mx Explosive?
The sub-editors who write the headlines rarely understand what the article says when it's about science. I have talked to journalists who regularly find themselves tearing their hair out when this happens.
