It's no surprise, is it, when you see the way Farridge speaks to women?

There must be, what, at least a couple of thousand people there.

I hear that Liddell Lines Ltd can do that kind of work, also Mone Construction Ltd. No guarantee the pipelines will actually be able to carry oil without leaks, but then that doesn't matter if they're blown up before they start being used !

“Kings had always been involving and impoverishing their people in wars, pretending generally, if not always, that the good of the people was the object,” a young representative named Abraham Lincoln wrote in 1848. This was “understood to be the most oppressive of all Kingly oppressions and they resolved to so frame the Constitution that no one man should hold the power of bringing this oppression upon us.” This quote, incidentally, is immortalized on the House’s website, if any members of Congress are looking for it.

In fairness it’s not like the consequences of having a mad king unilaterally take the country to war on a whim were so incredibly obvious that you could see it coming from the 18th and 19th centuries www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

Pilates classes and learning lots of different hip stretches and strengthening exercises helps me. And exercises to strengthen the muscles along the spine (bird-dog, supermans)

Obv avoid pain when doing any of this, so maybe wait a while before starting if you have to.

And walking, lots of walking

A couple of days ago I got cramp in my left calf shortly after getting out of bed ... problem was I was going down the stairs at the time.😧 Luckily it wasn't really bad and I managed not to fall the rest of the way down!

Is there any evidence there was a thief? When I heard about this, my first reaction was that it was made up, fictitious. Am I being too cynical?

On the other points;

You say Polanski's policy is the same as Starmer's, it is not. Polanski says he would not let the US use their bases on UK territory, in fact he would seek to evict them. Starmer is allowing their use.

You say we are not involved in the war, I think we are.

I let you divert me, my bad.

We agree on one thing, "Polanski is not in any way a serious politician!". 😀
