Faces are brighter, some colors slightly muted. Overall not a difference I see a reason to have a strong opinion about.

Still not sure if I'd be a very good TTRPG player, but I played a #PowerRangers session in a dream last night and had an absolute blast.

Not being a collector myself, I don't have strong opinions on the toy line, but I do wonder how many kids are interested in MMPR toys nowadays (excluding time travelers from the 90s).

I'm happy to see more of Lauren, and I think Samurai works as one of the few teams active on Earth in the 1950s. At least Melissa tried to make their Americanization make a bit more sense through their Japan -> England -> US journey over the eras.

If that's the case, then numerous Samurai families spent their lives in training and never fought Nighlok. There had to be a lot of dread knowing your own peaceful life meant your kids or their kids were that much more likely to bear the burden instead!

To my recollection, Samurai never explicitly said every generation became #PowerRangers. In fact, it helps pad the timeline back to medieval London (and prior) if Jayden being the "18th leader" didn't limit us to 17 generations of history.

I think PR is best when the eras can intermingle, so it's nice to have a new crossover world that isn't a temporary event like Shattered Grid. As for who's a Ranger, I haven't thought that far ahead. A rotating cast might be fun, but I'm game for whatever Melissa's cooking up.

I enjoyed #PowerRangers Prime #1. It's nice to see the comics start building a completely new timeline that doesn't need to be set anywhere relative to the show.
