I’m going through a phase of hand building and have been embracing coils. It’s usually the lesson that my students enjoy least but I’ve been inspired by the process lately. Give me the imperfections and imprints. It’s so meditative and the pieces have such a lovely energy.

First time testing a couple new shino glazes. Did I use test tiles? Of course not. I thought they’d be a bit lighter but overall I’m happy and digging those toasty earth vibes.
