Emma Waltz, MPAS ’26, took her clinical training to Cape Coast, Ghana—working in internal medicine and gaining experience with everything from malaria to heart failure.

Outside the hospital, she immersed herself in the culture and daily life.

On a Fulbright scholarship, Natalie Callahan '23 spent nine months in Varanasi, India drawing the faces of master weavers behind one of the world's oldest textile traditions. One family has practiced the craft for over 250 years.
