I have never seen platform reliability take a nose dive in quite the same way as GitHub recently. Practically every day I'm dealing with an outage on actions, webhooks, PRs, etc. Some products seem untouchable in terms of competition until they aren't.

It's interesting that Gemini CLI defaults to use the WebFetch tool for URLs instead of the GitHub MCP. That's the kind of thing I sort of expect the agent to figure out for me?
