A peacock and a wedge shaped 80’s classic car with blue paintwork that mirrors some of the bird’s colouration. Both are in a large shed/garage and the bright blue colours pop amongst the sepia and dark tones of the background car detritus and industrial building.
Life provided an opportunity when I went to check on some bodywork that needed fixing on my AC 3000ME. #peacock #classiccar #80’s #wedge
There are more people alive today and with access to music, but well done to her regardless.
Now this is a proper car! Makes my #Lagonda look like a toy, which it is! This 1930 2 litre Lagonda has been regularly raced by the lovely owner who was interviewed as part of the rebranded Mach 2 Motor show at Aerospace Bristol.
Another day of #classiccars and #Aerospace tomorrow! ❤️
If you enjoy engineering then get yourself to Aerospace Bristol this weekend. There’s going to be loads of machines for you to enjoy. Cars and Concorde only scratch the surface!

People have told stories, sagas, oral history and poems to each other since time immemorial and long before the invention of writing.
Audiobooks sit in a long tradition and the only lazy bit is Amol Rajan's boring take.
The Mach 2 Motor Show is over both days this weekend at Aerospace Bristol still some spaces on Saturday and perhaps Sunday for something really special… if you fancy bringing something interesting, contact info@aerospacebristol.org.

It’ll be very busy, Aerospace Bristol’s got more room even on wet days! 😉
Great news for indoor attractions!
Good news for covered attractions!
The unique #Bristol 450, a replica of the Les Mans winning car, returns to Aerospace Bristol for May half-term and the Mach 2 motor show (Father’s day weekend).
Squeeze, bang, suck, blow… RR and Bristol coming together again!

So many burrowing #bees in my lawn this year! 🐝
And impressive, running a marathon is no mean feat and yet thousands step up!
Had a wee look at a potential friend for it.
Took my Lagonda out for Drive it day and saw some other nice wheels on the road, not as many as I’d hoped though.
#Bristol Bolingbroke getting reassembled in time for #VEDay at Aerospace Bristol. One Mercury engine on one to go!
Indoctrinating the next generation with petrol fumes and wind in his hair! #classiccar #lagonda
The Westland Whirlwind and Gloster F.9/37 were the only aircraft powered by the Rolls-Royce Peregrine. Two prototypes of the F.9/37 were built, the 22nd February 1940 saw the Peregrine engined version fly, the other was powered by the Bristol Taurus.
