I love this space and don't like Jack. But generally speaking, to folks on the outside of the board or company leadership, if the brand of an open protocol/project is the same as that of a for profit entity, it's a risk, even if a B corp or incredibly well intentioned.

I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice.

This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.

The thing I hate is that the internet didn't have to be like this. For a while, it let independent media flourish. It let people who would never get interviews at established papers have a voice. It shifted the overton window away from people who already had money. God fucking dammit.

Commission presents Roadmap for effective and lawful access to data for law enforcement The European Commission presented today a Roadmap setting out the way forward to ensure law enforcement authorities in the EU have effective and lawful access to data.

Well, this horrible idea refuses to die so we should refuse to let it pass and start organizing again.
