Looking at pictures of storm damage just a half mile from me this morning, I had no idea last night how close things got. In my largely wooded yard, no limbs down. A 10 minute walk from here, entire trees unearthed.

2:15. All clear. Out of the basement and back to bed.

I don’t know how many ppl here in the US understand how big a deal this is. Trump’s regime sings directly from the Orbán authoritarian hymnal. Project 2025 is Orbán’s plan. Hungary shows us not only what can be done to fight back, but how. It starts with recognizing the regime’s moves in advance.

Yes, I saw reports of a detainment at that location this morning and a short video of same.
