Intersectionality in the EU is still emerging, especially in deliberative democracy. Our project reviewed EU laws and policies to find gaps and suggest how to better integrate intersectionality across EU policy and law.

Spent a lovely day in a very sunny Graz presenting the @eu-ciembly.bsky.social project's normative, analytical, and operational dimensions for incorporating intersectionality into the design of citizens' assemblies. Many thanks to the organisers of the Facing Inequalities conference for hosting!
🤝Our New Zealand (NZ) partners were among the first in their country to gain Horizon Europe funding. They bring knowledge in intersectionality, diversity, & indigenous rights to the project. Associate Professor Lara Greaves visited the NZ embassy in Brussels to share updates on the project.
