It's the eve of my 50th birthday & I'm genuinely struggling to think of a more insane day for news headlines in my lifetime.
Yeah I did say that tbf, haha, tho a few you mentioned I've actually already done. Others would kinda be sidesteps tbh. For now, I know my Soho show gets some of the highest ratings on the station, so I'll just keep at that for now. Happy to have a regular audience wherever I go at this stage! ๐ค
..Basically I'm just gonna keep at it, man. A paid gig on a "proper" station would be nice, but I've flitted around several stations since around 2010, and am grand with my lot as it stands. I think my own Mixcloud uploads often get higher playbacks than a lot of these stations get too tbh.
..Soho want me to do something weekly down the line, just working out whether I have time tbh. Boss lady at 6 was very polite & friendly so not necessarily the end there (tho can't see anything happening soon). May well be reviving the Block Party on Virgin with Huey soon too, tho details tbc atm.

Used to play on NTS a while back for Rough Trade; we won a Mixcloud award for it, but NTS didn't want a regular show from me. Done WWFM few times too. Mixcloud Live's an open platform, I just don't use it.
