Happy to have Senators Murray representing Washington State in these moments. The GOP doesn’t care about poor or working class people.

Thank you for your leadership and for holding your ground to fight for the working class!
I’m happy that our Senators are holding the line to protect our healthcare and won’t back down. Republicans need to start representing the working class instead of billionaires.
Nobel committee has some explaining to do.
Priorities.
“Former aide to Senator Harry Reid wants to put the last nail in the coffin of the Democratic Party.” There, I fixed the title. The think tank is completely out of touch with reality and the base of the party. I’d say this was a joke, but it seems to be the norm for establishment (privileged) “Dems”
We are a country WITH immigrants. There were people here before colonization began, and those people and their cultures still exist.
My family escaped Ukraine from the pogroms and were lucky enough to escape to the US.
They took my family in — we had nothing and offered nothing, but a desire to get ahead and be free while being safe.
This is a country of immigrants, and we should be honoring that history.

We need an HHS Secretary who respects science and does not make policy based on conspiracy theories.
Vaccines are safe and effective.
Kennedy is threatening the health of our kids and all Americans.
He must resign.

Hey NE Seattle friends! Help spread the word about Katie Wilson for Seattle Mayor

Sex workers relied on Backpage(dot)com to vet clients. After it shut down, sex workers had to move operations to the street, which is more dangerous for them, and more visible to our communities. What will you do to increase safety for sex workers and end trafficking, while reducing visibility?
Bruce: You have held an elected position in the city for 16/18 past years, what do you expect to accomplish in the next 4 years that you couldn’t in the previous 16?
I'm sorry Congresswoman. You can't simultaneously declare your objection to sweeps while also endorsing a mayor in your own city who has aggressively swept your constituents and slow-walked any meaningful expansion of services. 🤦🏽♀️
“Musk clearly has a conflict of interest and should recuse,” one ethics expert said.
“Therefore an employee of his ... who stands to keep his job only if he supports Musk’s personal interests, should not be working for DOGE.”
Idiocracy. The president is a moron, elected by bigger morons, who appoints roided up misogynist vol-cells, and is constantly advertising for private companies that sponsor him and his corrupt cronies. I know most people laughed when they saw Dax Shepard’s film, but I was horrified when it came out.
Stop calling kidnapping and trafficking people to countries they’ve never been to “deporting.” It’s criminal behavior by a country with no conscience. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...
Thanks @npr.org for this coverage! FBF appreciates coverage of the devastation that has occurred to CDC health communication. CDC scientists and experts should not be silenced. Communication is the life blood of public health and prevention. #saveCDC #savepublichealth #savelives
Ask was for health services for residents and their kids. A: possible space for it. My A: SIHB is in Lake City, NW hospital is 1 mile north.
Licton Springs Community wants coffee shops and a small grocery. The woman presenting is doing a great job informing the people of funding requirements and why they can’t build those amenities. North Seattle College has a coffee shop with food available 5 days/week.
This is not transitional housing. Rent is required to be paid. There are not many units for people below 30%AMI. The development is trying to fill the niche of necessary low income to middle income housing for individuals and families.
Colonizers want it all!!!! They want new moms in the neighborhood to be able to access the residents secure play area. The public parks aren’t good enough.
People are concerned that they will loose their public space. They Don want to lose access to anything that residents and their families will have access to.
The Licton Springs Community Council wants to use the space for free. I guess it’s not enough that these colonizers are living on land that was taken through threats and acts of violence, they want Natives to give them more.
People want to know why the project isn’t providing street improvements. A: they aren’t warranted by the project and SDOT doesn’t require them or isn’t able to provide them.
There will be 348 bedrooms. There are covenants that restrict the amount of rent that can be charged. Young children will have a dedicated outdoor play area. Multiple activity areas for various ages and generations.
181 units, previously analyzed over 200 units, street and intersection improvements weren’t deemed necessary. Design is conservative.
In partnership with Chief Seattle Club and North Seattle College, we're excited to develop Thunderbird Nest in the Licton Springs neighborhood. The mixed-use building will hold apartment homes for individuals and families (40% of homes will have 2-4 bedrooms!), and a ground-floor education space.
This project will provide affordable housing for Native people and their families seeking higher education. Providing opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.
What about the trees? A: we sited the development to preserve the largest trees.
