Name recognition is the single most important thing in politics. Even if the recognition is for something bad. People just naturally gravitate towards a name they remember, even if they don't know why for sure.

I'm so, so sorry. In December my husband had a kidney stone and we had to wait in the hospital until the sun came up to finally get an answer. The only plus? The hot gossip from the loud lady near us who had real beef with her son's partner and made sure everyone heard about it.
