Pros and cons of having curly hair

Pro: Styling it is easy; I just have to wet it, tousle it a little, let it dry, and boom, styled

Con: SO. MANY. TANGLES!!!

Newsflash: John Green may have wrote “Turtles All the Way Down”, but I am ‘tism all the way down, baby!

Ya know, I gotta wonder how these people advocating for an “autism cure” expect the cure to work. Like, do they think that there’s a neurotypical person buried under all the ’tism, and the cure can somehow peel back the ‘tism and bring out the neurotypical?

Broke: “Easter/Christmas/Halloween/All the other holidays were stolen from the pagans and bastardized by the Christians!!!”

Woke: “So there’s this thing called syncretism…”

Visit and support your local library if you can; as they say in the Arthur musical episode, “having fun isn’t hard when you have a library card”

Urban Fantasy concept: A human family moves into a neighborhood with an HOA run by mythical creatures.

Garden gnomes are against HOA policies because the gnomish neighbors in the HOA find them incredibly insulting and offensive

Just downloaded Skylight.Social, which is hopefully TikTok that can’t be banned; let’s hope it works out well

Idea: Create a “seed world” speculative evolution project where a non-Earth planet is seeded with Earth life and left to its own devices for millions of years.

Main seed species: bats.

Other species: any animals and plants that can give the bats a good ecosystem to thrive in.

Planet: Camazotz

I said it on Discord, and I will say it here. I would be a Water-type Gym (as thats my favorite type) and I would go with the theme of stories, with each of my Pokémon being inspired by different stories

Depending on which side of my heritage you’re asking about, I am either the original German “Rumpelstiltskin” or the Irish “Trit-a-Trot”

Pokémon. I know I’m basic, but the Pokémon games are really the only video games that I have played extensively.

I’m a little biased, as this is my favorite video game franchise, but I have a soft spot for the live action Detective Pikachu movie

I remember hearing about a movie called “Monster Mutt”, which is basically this; I also discovered that there’s a movie called “Digby, the Biggest Dog in the World”, which also had a similar plot. Neither of the dogs are Golden Retrievers, but they are doggy kaiju movies, nonetheless.

I just recently learned that you can watch the whole thing for free (with ads) on YouTube; I would absolutely recommend it 😁

Okay, so I just looked it up; there’s a Toyman, who originally was a Superman villain, and there’s a version of him named Toymaker that appears in the Batman animated series; the Batman version is only superficially similar to the original

I do believe there is a Toymaker in Batman

Baron Bomburst from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang; he rules over a land where children are outlawed because his wife hates them, and the only reason he doesn’t consider people like toy makers obsolete is because he wants all the best toys for himself (“toys” is also used rather loosely)

Good choice!

Billikid, a Grass-type Pokémon that looks like a baby goat with green fur, small horns, purple eyes, brown hooves, leaves on its legs, its head, and it’s tail, as well as a small grape-like fruit growing alongside its head leaves.

Just wanted to show some artwork I made of some fanmade Pokémon starters. If you were a Pokémon trainer, which would be your choice? The Grass-type Billikid? The Fire-type Hearthling? Maybe the Water-type Tadfoal?

I absolutely agree with you here; why do people go out of their way to look for problematic things in old movies?

Besides, that information is factually incorrect (not to be pedantic); Ariel is supposed to be 16, and Eric is, like, 18, 19 AT MOST in the first movie

So same power, vastly less psychopathic character. Honestly, I would love to see Harley gain Cartoon Physics/Toon Force

Yeah, but then everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked

So basically if the Joker suddenly gained Cartoon Physics as a superpower? That doesn’t really seem fair to Batman, hahaha

How dare you speak to me in that tone of pun!

Funnily enough, that mischievous nature of genies to twist the wishes of those who ask wishes of them is precisely why I made them members of the Fae folk in the world of my fantasy novel.

If I had a nickel for every time a cartoon from my childhood had a main character that normally can’t get injured actually get injured by something and have the sudden realization of “Wait, that hurt?!”, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice, right?

The best part is that I can watch it on YouTube for free (well, free with ads, but still)
