Had an utterly magnificent flight today, a totally epic long jump from Grants NM, 56 miles across the rio Puerco Valley. We made our target landing next to Cabezon, a huge ancient volcano. We planned and executed a challenging flight perfectly! #Ballooning at its greatest.

It’s been one of my faves for years! Took this shot when I flew in Chain Gang and you landed right next to us by Cleveland HS in Rio. We put weight on for you and walked you to the parking lot until your crew arrived. This was in 2019!

Yes! We launched very close to Cabezon and flew ~1.5-2hrs to Rio Rancho for a long haul! I think Mark wants to do more long haul jumps this winter as he really enjoyed this last year! Are you in touch with him?
