Loved it - felt sure a dragon had lived there at some point

Same - proper treat in our house that - we called it mucky fat 🤌
Can’t argue with that!
We did the NC500 over Easter; pictures don’t really do justice to the incredible sights and scenery, but here are a few for your viewing pleasure. What an experience - going back soon to visit the Islands 🏴
My old Ma has finally succumbed to the jazzy new hearing aids I’ve been mithering about for a year or so. As a result, for the first time in years, we’ve spent a lovely couple of hours listening to her favourite music together. She likes some godawful shite mind, but still a good time ❤️ #hairmetal
We had a rare weeknight session on Weds - managed to see off a Barrow Wight *and* go shopping; unusual levels of efficiency, that we do not display on our rambling all-day sessions. I doubt we’ll learn from it…
“Thanks for your email…”
It’s a belter. Saw them in Bradford on this tour in 92; Skyclad supported and were a bit too brilliant, so got yanked off early. Danzig sat on the tour bus steps afterwards chatting and signing stuff. He tried to steal my gf - she was wavering
Sunrise in the Western Highlands - life affirming stuff 🏴
This takes me back. School trip to France in the 80’s - we visited the Bayeux Tapestry and were required to write a report to demonstrate that we’d actually paid attention. Kev Smith submitted the following:
“Today we went to see the Bayeux Tapestry. It was a truly amazing piece of cloth.” 🤌
Congratulations to you both! ❤️
Partway around the NC500; today we: drove a lot; got menaced by a falcon; walked down 300 steps to a hidden cove while an idiot tightrope walked above us; and explored a 5000 year old cairn. Absolutely marvellous
If you see this.. post a concert photo you took .
We’ve gone for OSE, to recreate the most fun we had with D&D before it got too complicated. We’re playing a classic mega-dungeon that is neither tuned nor balanced for low level parties - so running away is proving a good option vs certain death ☠️
I know with 100% certainty that the person concerned ended that anecdote *exactly* like this:
We recently started playing again after a couple of dice-free decades. The main difference I noted was that we appear to have finally developed the ability to run away and regroup. It’s a welcome development! 🎲
Pre-ordered this last year because my wife loves Raye - and promptly forgot all about it. Arrived yesterday so we just gave it a spin - and now I love Raye too #NowPlaying
I’m trapped in a children’s trampoline park for the next hour - very much against my will. Neon lights, noise and overexcited kids - with a brilliantly incongruous Smiths soundtrack blasting over the PA 🤌
This is a cat who has chilling out down to a fine art 🤌
Wem-ber-lee - quite a spectacle
That’s pretty impressive - ours lasted a week before it went all over the pouffe; it’s in the bin now
28 Years Later: The Bone Collector - marvellously mental stuff, Ralph Fiennes on top form and a music sequence that tops the Sinners dance floor routine. Lovely stuff - if you don’t mind the odd bit of exposed spinal column or brain-eating
I know - a source of constant irritation to me that!
It’s the morning after the old man’s 80th birthday party; feeling a bit delicate, so Iggy Pop is keeping an eye on me #Caturday
I stood near the front at a Motörhead gig back in the day - experienced tinnitus for about 3 weeks after. Worth it tho 🤘
Sean Bean - the real King o’ the North 👑
