I loved it, your book has just stayed with me ever since I read it. I’ve recommended it to so many people.

Thank you so much, I really needed to hear this today. The ups and downs are hard, and I’m very much on my own figuring it out. I appreciate your kindness ❤️ x
Taking down the Christmas decorations today. Got rid of a lot before Christmas so thought putting away the rest would be easy. It’s not going as planned, why does everything take up as much space as before when there is less of it?! Aargh! 😳😩🤣
Hope your dad is better soon. Take care x
It’s hard, isn’t it? Sending you love and hope you feel brighter soon. x
I’ve blogged for the first time in ages to share my favourite books that I read in 2024! #BookSky #FavouriteBooks #BestBooks2024

I loved this book and its sequel. I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
The image features a promotional graphic for StoryGraph titled "New Year, New Reading Journey." It displays a hand-drawn illustration of a small character circling the Story Graph logo on a calendar page, with "2025" written in the top right corner. The character stands on a pushpin platform, using a red marker for circling. The style is playful and sketch-like. The background is simple, adorned with scattered stars and paper airplane drawings, adding to the whimsical atmosphere. The text on the image states, "We've got fun updates coming all January! Give us the month to keep you around. Don't love us by Jan 31st? Delete your data in just 3 clicks."

Hardback book of We Solve Murders by Richard Osman
Just finished reading my first book of 2025 - We Solve Murders by Richard Osman. I loved it… a fab start to my reading year! ❤️📖📚
Thank you 😊
I’ve felt like a failure for most of this year for struggling so much with my mental health. Yet this year I literally saved my husband’s life and supported him through his ongoing recovery from a heart attack and two cardiac arrests. I think in 2025 I need to be kinder to myself.
Word of the Day is one I keep posting at the end of the year, hoping its time will come.
‘Respair’, from the 16th century, is fresh hope, and a recovery from despair.
Here’s to a few drops of respair in 2025.
We do the same here, they’re just too nice to only have with roast beef. 😃
Totally agree! 😃
You look fab! I love your dress 📚😃
It looks like a good read, he’s certainly had an interesting career. I love how he now embraces the 80s hits.
I was very spoilt this Christmas and got lots of lovely presents, including books! Here’s my Christmas book haul! My husband always manages to get me a real mix of interesting books and I can’t wait to read them all! 📚 #BookSky
I love #DuvetKnowItsChristmas so am very happy to see it’s moved over to here. 🎄😃
So I'll be back around then. We'll be trying to raise a bit of money for Centrepoint, bearing in mind that there are a bunch of people who have nowhere to go this evening. gofund.me/637d21d0 ENDS FOR NOW 🎄🛏️
As the person who accidentally began this Yuletide event, it falls to me to give it some kind of shape. Clearly anyone can use hashtags whenever and wherever they like, but given that we've got presents to panic buy and wrap, I usually say "let's get going at 7.30pm?" 3/
Tradition has it (well, for the last 14 years) that photographs are taken of these austere, unkempt and impromptu setups and they're posted on social media with the hashtag #duvetknowitschristmas 2/
So, let's try doing #duvetknowitschristmas here this evening? People are literally Driving Home For Christmas right now, which MIGHT JUST mean that they'll be sleeping somewhere unusual. 1/
I’m so sorry. I’ve loved seeing your posts about him on here and on twitter over the years. He sounded like such a lovely boy. Sending love to you x
I’m so sorry. I lost my mum nearly sixteen years ago so I understand how you feel. Be gentle on yourself and take things a bit at a time. Sending love to you x
It’s been a big week here. I finally started treatment for PTSD (from the trauma of seeing my husband collapse with a cardiac arrest and doing CPR on him) and he finally got the call from DVLA to say he is allowed to drive again from tomorrow. Feels like such a milestone. ❤️
