👤 Isabelle is a member of the Quality Improvement & Implementation Science (QUIS) and the Sustainable Nephrology Action Planning (SNAP) committees, as well as the Vice-Chair of the Communications committee.
💚 She is passionate about home dialysis, environmentally sustainable kidney care and patient-centered care.
👩🏻⚕️👩🏻🔬 She divides her time between clinical work as a nephrologist at the Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) and as a researcher. She is the Medical Lead of the home dialysis program at CHUM.

🎓 Dr. Ethier completed her medical training, internal medicine residency and nephrology residency at Université de Montréal. She later completed additional training in home dialysis in Brisbane, Australia. 🇦🇺

👨🏾🔬 His primary research interest is in using knowledge synthesis with hypertension, and patients with acute kidney injury (AKI).
💰 He has grant funding from CIHR, PSI, TOHAMO, and other agencies, in the field of contrast AKI and difficult to control hypertension.
👨🏾⚕️👨🏾🏫 He is a Staff Nephrologist at the Ottawa Hospital, a Full Professor in the Faculty of Medicine, and cross appointed to the School of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Ottawa, and an Associate Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.

🎓 Dr. Hiremath’s medical education has been at the University of Mumbai and University of Ottawa. He has a Master’s in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health and certification from the American Heart Association.
