Always the bottom rack. Middle meant I risked seeing your nuts & butt. Top meant constant light pollution and I had to climb down from that fucking thing. The morons were the ones who thought I was dumb for giving them the middle. You’ll learn soon enough boot. ⚓️😂

No. I got out and had 4 years inactive reserves. I’m WELL past that. Even during desert storm AND Afghanistan the military didn’t even get close to recalling inactive reserves. You’re talking a TON of active reserves being called up before it got to that point. A ton.

It’s more like you join, sign on the dotted line and prepare for the worst, hope for the best. I was a west coast sailor, so the most we did was drug interdiction, plus many stops in Hawaii and a west pac to Asia. Had I taken the carrier billet on the east coast that would’ve been different.

I get it. I really do. Our administration is shit show that is an insult to humanity. Hence why (despite my service to this country) I no longer recommend that others serve until at least these assholes are no longer in office.

Understandable. And not disregarded. Although Hawaii is a true melting pot and hub for basically all countries.

It was a family get together. 2 great things about Hawaii: huge on family (Ohana) & their friends (me that day) and unlike anywhere else in the US, all beaches are open to anyone, and cooking on beaches is welcomed.

I make this for my wife’s lunch (to go with a spinach wrap): Kirkland canned chicken, diced red & green onion and celery, mayo, horseradish, my Coastie neighbor’s spicy Thai chili paste, spicy mustard and Kirkland Everything Bagel seasoning.

I spotted periscopes twice. Both times I figured whomever was looking through from the sub was staring back at me on the bridge wing Big Eyes (the high powered scope). But still it was a thrill. A fun game of “Gotcha!” 😂
