That's home. That's us.

That's home. That's us.

This image of home just came down from the Artemis II crew.

Taken after their translunar injection burn, there are aurorae at top right and lower left, and zodiacal light at lower right.

One company I worked at actually had to turn on the heat in the data center.

That data center used atmospheric cooling and on a really cold day, the dampers froze and servers were going into low temp shutdown.

Also the Winter Olympics uses electric blankets on the servers at the outdoor venues.

DOOM fully rendered in CSS. Every surface is a <div> that has a background image, with a clipping path with 3D transforms applied. Of course CSS does not have a movable camera, so we rotate and translate the scene around the user.

Relatedly, if whoever runs myatproto.social sees this, you’ve either got a botnet problem or something functionally indistinguishable from one and you might want to deal with that

I sure love that the first step of every troubleshooting with our firewall vendor [unnamed] is: "Please attach a full current config to the ticket." [to be stored god knows where, for god knows how long]
