We were provided a choice of alien scripts, and many pieces of paper later and the table was covered in square scraps of paper showcasing the development of our alien language.
The two part ~7 hour game about constructing an alien culture by developing their written language and decoding the other aliens message had a lot of opportunity for me to learn about linguistics but the only thing to stick is agglutinate.
