I spent my entire day off doing an extra day of work. In that time I did maybe 15 minutes of actual work. I almost crashed out on my way home about the pointlessness of them wasting my time.

It's pathetic that "order pizza" is supposed to make up for taking away one of my days off.

The extra day of work with different hours messed up my sleep cycle and now I'm having a panic attack about mistakes I made 15 years ago. Great vibe for today's useless work.

I go above and beyond during the week and am very good at my job, getting mad I don't want to do another job on top and an extra day has me fuming. I get my work done in the scheduled shift, why should I have to clock extra.

I'm still hung up on being employee of the month for going above and beyond and shit on for not doing extra in the same breath. Capitalism bullshit is crazy.

My favorite part was previously I requested off a Saturday and was told thats not an option because we don't work Saturdays. I beg to differ.

I am good at my job, I give better than 40/week despite hating that. It's bullshit to eat my day off for "fairness" fairness my ass. HR isn't in, management who are get an extra almost month of paid vacation. My job doesn't have tasks, my direct boss even said it was pointless but some exec asshole

I have never had a job before that was more worried about making me come in with nothing to do than saving payroll before. They made me employee of the month then pitched a fit I don't work Saturdays because I don't have workload that day. Fuck your 6th day, keep your overtime. I want my time off.
