KAMI Survey paper on #SOGIECE (efforts to change #LGBT+ identities) in #Malaysia is out in T&F! We found: SOGIECE are prevalent and harmful to Malaysian LGBT+ persons' mental health. DM me for the paper or for more of KAMI's outputs!
Grateful that this paper was published after 3 rejections. Conclusion: Conversion practices have detrimental effect on mental health among LGBTQ+ Malaysians.
