By the way Daryl, your choice of doing the film in B&W was the way. The only way. I loved the up close distorted film noir you imposed. It was gravitating to the senses.
Everyone in the theater felt they were at the concerts.

Still relishing the moments of that awesome film. It made us feel like we are in our 20’s again.

I just finished restoring these V-72 preamps from 1963.

I had a long time companion extracted today… an upper Molar that gave up.
I feel like a horse kicked me in the face but it hurts good.

My first full week off of Facebook and newsfeeds has been a startling albeit refreshing departure.
It’s strange, because I’ve been locked into social media for 20 years and it helped me thrive.
Nowadays it’s just a wasteland of missed opportunity and sadness.

I found a great Art supply store today. They had in stock, Artists Tape.
That white tape that’s been used for decades on recording consoles as scribble strips to identify which channel had which instrument or microphone.
I am stoked to finally have a roll. It’s been years!

It felt real good to get out and perform electrical work today. I love to solve problems and save clients money.

We love it there!

Listening to “High Falls” by the Allman Brothers Band.
It keeps me together when I’m stressed. Especially today when I need a lot of hope that things will turn out okay.
A perfect cleaning the house performance by one of the greatest bands ever.

Looking at the various feeds today, I’m not a bit surprised by the behavior and lack of respect for the high office of our nation.
We are now a complete joke to the rest of the world.
I thought 2016 was the worst but it looks like the worst is yet come.

As we awake to a day of infamy, in which we witness the dismemberment of our Democracy, we can gather our collective powers of rebellion and protest and put them to use.
Begin by refusing to spend money at any establishment that supports the new regime.

Had a great time with our local tribe tonight. A group of friends and family that have gathered for years.
A great time of stories, food and music that enrich our souls.
So glad we can do this.
It makes life so much better.
We all need a lot of this.
