Random Amiga memory: A rare Preferred Technologies (Advanced Storage Systems) [I told them people would say this stuff was ASS...but no one listen to Zathras] Nexus SCSI card that used a 'hardware pre-fetch of next byte" (because there is no DMA, so polled) to speed up reading/writing disk blocks.
Random Amiga memory: My Amiga 2000 CMI Multiport Board development board still exists (no idea if it still works). The battery-backed SRAM where the autobooting of the SCSI device driver is prob quite dead.
Random Amiga memory: I have a wirewrap version of the Amiga 500 CMI Multiport Expansion (SCSI, parallel, RS-422) that was never put into product because CMI shutdown.
Random Amiga memory: There is an Amiga 500 version of the CMI/DigiFeX Interact AppleTalk expansion connector. There weren't very many made, and I haven't seen any photos around of it.
Random Amiga memory: When designing the CSA 40/4 Magnum with Steve Kelsey, I wanted the RS-422 on it because there was no room for Ethernet, and I wanted to hook it to my CMI/DigiFeX Interact AppleTalk network. I don't think any production boards had the connector.

These two things are the most infuriating thing about using the ChatGPT app on iOS.
Don’t make me hack you, bro.
Please respect these difficult times during the mourning of rotating around the Sun 0x111100x. No questions at this time. Thank you.
Kinda depressing to go update your GPG key expiry date and see the deceased in the keychain...

@imil.net I was thinking about Matt's (Dillon) vkernel, and how your work lately has been tickling my brain cell that you have a lot of the lift already to basically give that instantaneous boot.. madvise... etc. kind of a an nkvm...
Works on Amiga, too!
Level 41.
Hmmm. Amiga1200 has entered the chat.
Yeh, Sonnet 4.5 fast/planning yielded this today trying to track down spanning tree and DFS confusion. You can bet there's little auditing for efficiency going on because those who nuked technical positions for AIslop isn't noticing this (or care because think of all of the money saved) [paying $AI]
