HOW DID I MISS THE RETURN OF PEAK

Something I hate is the gatekeeper aspect that so many anime fans adopt. I started being a fan of One Piece in around 2005 but idgaf if you started watching 20 years ago or 20 days ago. As long as you make the decision to invest in this story you are welcome aboard and as much as fan as me.

Is there a character you initially hated but later came to love? I properly HATED Brook from One Piece when he was introduced because I thought he made the series stupid but then I was like I'm being a dumb teenager and now I love him. MVP at times such as Fishman Island.

I'm watching the first episode of the Elbaph arc and MAN they captured the pre-timeskip artstyle PERFECTLY.

People who keep bleating on about how bad Dragon Ball Evolution is are so basic. Like I am very much in agreement that was a bad film but why are you still talking about it every week when 17 years have passed? Can you not move on with your life in almost 2 decades. It's so boring and copypaste.

Some folk don't realise that after the Freeza saga when Funimation went in-house with their own voice actors, we (various places like UK & Canada) got the rest of the series with largely the same voices. Goku swapped a few times but Vegeta was the same for the entirety.

I thought the Funimation voices for Goku & Vegeta were generally very good but the Ocean/Westwood voices will always be special for me. Nostalgia aside, I always liked Brian Drummond's raspy, entitled approach for Vegeta. For Goku, Peter Kelamis was great & I actually particularly loved Kirby Morrow

I have Dragon Quest 1 HD2D Remake but I might start up Pokopia tonight because I have waited a few weeks and with it sitting here I think I'll struggle to wait any longer.

I think I am gonna follow along weekly with the Elbaph episodes. The manga was starting to lose me ngl until last week's chapter.

I have read One Piece to present maybe 4 times. A part of me wants to do another reread this summer but at the same time I can't help but thinking that free time could go towards other new reads like Hunter X Hunter and Frieren.

I'm starting to pack up my apartment because it's getting torn down this year and I rediscovered my old Gameboy games
