I saw him speak at a sustainability conference about 15 years ago. He talked at length about how dirty energy is cheaper because of direct and indirect taxpayer subsidizing. And that if those were removed, that renewables would be much more competitive. It was compelling.

I feel bad for the students losing resources and the educators struggling to hold it together.

About 10,000 fewer students entered FL public schools this year, almost a 5% drop. That’s a huge year over year change.

These were clustered in the lawn outside the office yesterday. I think they’re mica cap mushrooms. And thus will break down into blackish brown inky goo.

The meat packing industry is consolidated and workers at a packing plant accounting for like 8% of US beef is on strike. Along with expensive gas and by extension expensive everything else.
