Me holding a paperback of 'A Lady for All Seasons by TJ Alexander
Slaps the cover of A Lady For All Seasons: Yup this bad boy can fit more queer disasters and misunderstandings than a Shakespeare comedy, ya hear

Republicans: go woke go broke
Republicans in Virginia right now: well actually queen if this redistricting meausre goes through it will impact marginalized voices. Have you checked your privilege today?
(For the record, horse girls are not a part of a marginalized community, Loudoun County)
"Welcome to Rhode Island B*tch!"
Annnnnnnd I think we have officially lost the plot on the Real Housewives franchise
Honestly, nothing prepares you for the Query Trenches more than being a theatre kid.
Learning how to handle rejection, how to pitch, how to pivot, how to take and give criticism WITHOUT hurting someone's feelings!
Should you take another class or should you just do Seussical?
I know her!!
Such a great pick!!! And another member of our writers group was shortlisted!
I'm so excited to see what happens next for ChemPortal! And really for all of us in #RevPit
So Daniel Radcliffe is leaving "Every Brilliant Thing" on Broadway. I love Mariska Hargitay as much as the next girlie BUT they should have just replaced him with Elijah Wood and seen how long it took people to notice.
Why yes WaPo is the local newspaper for Northern Virginia which does have a disproportionate concentration of wealth and horse culture dating back to the norms of the plantation era. Why do you ask?
A screenshot of a Washington Post article that says "For actual Horse Girls, this trend can't end soon enough" from the opinion piece: The style world has declared it "Horse Girl Fall," but our passions are never out of season.
For whatever reason? Look, it's not a mystery. Horse Girl is not style but culture.
"Our culture is not your costume!"
That shirt is amazing
The best part of this 2 hour video is that it's actually 4 hours when you and your husband stop it every 5 minutes to say "and another thing!"
Also just a great video and worth the watch.

On her journey to move out of DC by Christmas, a widowed lawyer starts to catch feelings for her married best friends. Things start to accelerate after her gingerbread induced meltdown, and soon she'll have to choose between found family and fresh starts in this sapphic Christmas RomCom!
When you figure it out let me know lol
Oh the floral dress does look super cute!! You look beautiful!!
Just in case we are making parallels between Lord of the Rings and any other nostalgic properties with reboots and merch out.
In case anyone was wondering here you can find a list of the charitable causes the Tolkein Trust (and by extension estate) sponsor. You will notice it's mostly about helping refugees and basically nothing about being a dick to transpeople.

Every scene needs to do more than one thing!! Like explore the setting AND further the plot.
Thank goodness that the LOTR movies came out before Marvel dialogue took off because otherwise we would have gotten something like:
Aragorn: then I shall die as one of them!
Gimli (directly to the camera): uh oh awkward!!! 🤣
This is a great argument against extreme wealth.
Like 3 people from your past trying to gently tell you you're being a huge weirdo *should* end with you going to therapy or crying over a glass of wine. It should NOT end with you using your wealth to erase their identities and rewrite UK law.
That freak would have driven a cyber truck (derogatory)
I've got a Regency poly romance that I've been kicking around for awhile trying to figure how all the pieces fit together.
I have an interconnected trilogy of contemporary queer romances brewing, featuring high school teachers who are less Abbott Elementary and more FX's English Teacher.
Omg this might be the hardest question....
Well, here are the authors whose work as stayed with me through the years:
JRR Tolkein
Mohsin Hamid
Alexis Hall
Ashley Herring Blake
Jane Austen
Kevin Kwan
William Shakespeare (I'm a theatre kid, give this to me okay)
There are pros to self-publishing, just like there are pros to traditional publishing. You do have choices when it comes to getting your work into the hands of readers. But if you come across this kind of graphic, it's because someone is trying to sell you something! In this case, editing services.
This is so disingenuous. First of all it's not "corporate" publishing. It's Traditional publishing. What this info graphic neglects to tell you is that if you self publish you pay all the up front cost. Whereas money flows to the author in traditional publishing. That's why royalties are lower. 🧵
