Hi all, went to the car wash this weekend, here is what I got.
Daily tasks can still produce results, if you look.
Let me know what you think?

“A Thin Distance”
A thin distance between what is and what just was.
This is A Thin Distance, the final piece in my series Held Light.
The moment you can’t hold, even as it passes through you.

“Passing Through”
Some light doesn’t stay long enough to belong to anything.
It just passes through.
This is Passing Through, from my series Held Light.
A moment that doesn’t ask to be held—and can’t be.

"Weight of the Evening"
Evening doesn’t fall all at once.
This is Weight of Evening, from my series Held Light.
A moment where light doesn’t vanish… it settles.

There’s a moment in the evening when light doesn’t disappear—it hesitates.
I just released a small series called Held Light.
4 photographs.
These aren’t just images to me—they’re moments that almost didn’t exist.

Went all abstract yesterday. I was driving in Seattle and passed a parking lot that intrigued me, so I went nuts. Many, Many more to come.

Mid-West Freight Passage www.arthelper.com/chandler-mck...
I shot "Mid-West Freight Passage" to play with the contrast between engineered form and open land. deep blue, orange, and sunny yellow, the composition conveys steady motion and a bold color rhythm against the green field.
Sunset Serenity www.arthelper.com/chandler-mck...
On this evening the clouds held a thin band of gold, just enough to warm the whole scene.
What I love about moments like this is how quiet they are. Nothing really “happens,” but the color shifts minute to minute as magic.
Sunset www.arthelper.com/chandler-mck...
Every sunset is different. Some whisper. Some burn.
These images aren’t about dramatic spectacle alone. They’re about atmosphere I’m drawn to that edge-of-day moment when the world exhales.
Crimson Leaf
Autumn’s colors never get old for me. This crimson leaf was a simple moment that caught my eye and made me pause. Sometimes the smallest details in nature are the most inspiring. What’s your favorite season for creative inspiration?

Sunset Serenity
Your serene landscapes and sunsets evoke the same awe and appreciation for the outdoors that these communities celebrate. Nature forums, introduce your art to people who want to bring a piece of that serenity into their homes.
🍂 "Autumn Tapestry" The vibrant reds, yellows, and browns come alive with a wet texture that adds depth and intrigue. Each leaf tells its own story, inviting you to explore the beauty of nature's transition.

Weathered Wood
There’s a quiet strength in weathered wood. The grain, the knots, the colors, the passage of time. I’m always inspired by how the elements shape and transform what we see every day.
What’s your favorite example of beauty shaped by time?

Nature’s details, flaws and all, are what make it beautiful. What’s an imperfection you love?

Watching the Grain Remember
Wood, up close.
Grain, pressure, time—doing what they always do.
After the Bloom
Not the flower at its peak—
the part where it gets honest.
