Wow, what a ride. I want that to be true, though.
CONDESCENDING DOG PARENT VOICE: “Who's a good boy?”
Ahh, socialism!!
Congress worked late for once — to save a surveillance program that collects information from Americans without a warrant.
The answer, unfortunately, is yes.
Unsurprisingly, the Trump administration has threatened retaliation against any local government that prosecutes federal agents.
This is the way.
JACKSON: “The president of the United States, though he may be harmed in an abstract way, he certainly isn’t harmed if what he wants to do is illegal.”
April 2: guards cut all phone access in the housing units without warning. When detainees protested, CRS officers allegedly punched a man, threw another to the ground, kicked him in the head, and pinned him by the neck. A third detainee's wrist was broken. The entire cage was pepper-sprayed.
Couldn't agree more. I just don't care much for the 3D Peanuts.
She was granted withholding of removal from India *decades* ago, and had been living and working legally (including for the U.S. government!) ever since.

So celebrating war crimes is not a violation of Meta's policies.
This is the way.
Similarly, my entire department found out LAST WEEK that a colleague who's been with the company for 8+ years pronounces his last name differently than anyone thought.
We're remote and no one uses his last name in meetings, so I guess it just never came up.

The president has 60 days without Congressional approval under the War Powers Act, but somehow I doubt that will matter.
Iran's Supreme National Security Council has reportedly claimed victory in the Iran War negotiations:
“Iran achieved historic victory by forcing criminal US to accept its 10-point plan. US has accepted Iran's control over Strait of Hormuz, enrichment right, removal of all sanctions…”
The fact that nobody seriously believes there is an institution in this country that will check the president—that we’re all just sitting here hoping that he gets distracted and fails to follow through on his genocidal threats—is the most damning indictment of our political system I’ve seen yet.
The king has spoken. Let it be so.
