I can't emphasise enough that early BTS was literally a group of teenage boys with relatively unsupervised access to twitter, youtube and soundcloud, and they were just doing whatever. It was inconsistent, strange, funny, and often hard to understand. It was mostly in Korean with no translation.

Every time outsiders and journalists say BTS only got famous because of their "meticulously orchestrated social media strategy" I laugh and laugh... I was there! They did not know what they were doing at any point! It was a mess!!!
