Jane Goodall’s light will never fade. 🌍💚 She showed us how love, courage, and kindness can change the world. Let us remember her words “What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.” #JaneGoodall
The sky doesn’t have to be clear for you to shine. ✨️
Yes indeed.
I had the joy of moderating two powerful panels:
Women in Leadership
Building Friendship through Volunteerism. Both were filled with heartfelt stories, courageous voices, and powerful reminders that real leadership and real change start with kindness, community, and service.

✨️☀️ 😎 Being in the Board for the World Happiness Foundation has changed my life. This week, I had the honor of doing just that at the World Happiness Fest in the City of Pinecrest—a beautiful celebration of joy, well-being, and human connection.
We need people who believe in creating a kinder, more joyful world—now more than ever. People who lead with empathy, take action with intention, and build spaces where others feel seen, heard, and supported. Find your people. Do your part. Keep putting good into the world however you can. 🧡 🌸 🌟
When I made the decision to shift my work to BE happiness—not just teach it, research it, or talk about it—but truly live it, everything began to align. The people I meet, the energy I give, and the opportunities that come my way all started flowing with more purpose, more clarity, and more heart. ✨
Something magical happened this week as we kicked off International Happiness Week at the World Happiness Fest at Pinecrest Gardens —so much joy, connection, and inspiration all around! ✨🌍💛😊 Find your people. Keep shining together. 🥰 #InternationalHappinessDay #KeepSiningWorld #FindayourJoy
I have a central tremor, which means I can't do the artwork I once could. I moved to digital art and changed my style. You can still create even if it is in a different form.
Getting inspired to launch my new children’s book "Keep Shining Kindness" at the Boston Public Library. Available now on Amazon. 📚🌟
My children's book is out on Amazon. Keep Shining Kindness. 📚
My daughter came down with Influenza A. Next, I got it and wish I got my FlU shot. 3 weeks later, she has a fever again. Apparently, this is happening this year. It reemerges weeks later.
Kindness is a behavior that involves being considerate, generous, and helpful to others without expecting anything in return. No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. Kindness inspires others to be kind, and so on. We need more of this in our world today. 🌎
“One individual can not possibly make a difference, alone. It is individual efforts, collectively, that makes a noticeable difference—all the difference in the world!” — Dr. Jane Goodall
Thanks Hailey for the kind words and encouragement. I needed it. 💖✨️🙏
I am writing these days and trying to focus on what I have control of. The end goal is to create social good in the world. One small action at a time. ✨️♥️
The first and only time Lucky experienced snow on our trip to Maine for Christmas when he was a puppy. ❄️ Hey buddy, guess what? We have snow in the forecast for Florida this week. True fact. ☃️
Mentally, this is where I’m at today.

Four years ago I wrote my inaugural poem The Hill We Climb. Both when I wrote it and performed it, I did so while continuously reflecting on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and Coretta Scott King’s legacy.
See how beautiful our universe is... 🤩

Wicked. Great movie.
This year’s FIU MLK Celebration theme, Empowering Generations of Audacious Leaders, hit home. It’s about more than just showing up—it’s about having the courage to keep going, to inspire others, and to lead with boldness, even when the road gets tough.🙏 #MLK
Some days, the world feels like it’s teetering on the edge—chaos everywhere, the future a giant question mark. When it feels like the wheels are coming off, that’s when we dig in. We just need to show up, do good, and keep going. Because the only way forward is through hope and action. 🙏
Interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Bottom line: This analysis confirms for me that Bluesky is a more reliable platform for seeing the content you want, especially on climate topics. Its lack of algorithm means that engagement here depends on YOU!
What’s it been like for you on these platforms? Does ⬆️ track with your experience?
"One life, one chance to make it count" — Do whatever you can, wherever you are, whenever you can, for as long as you can, with whatever you have.🤝 We can choose peace, alleviate suffering, and work together to create change. Let's embrace his legacy and make a difference! Honoring #JimmyCarter
🌪️2025 is coming in like a lion, but I'm clinging to my sanity looking at my flower photos in Maine and Florida. Had an "aha" moment writing amidst the chaos - maybe it was the impending doom? 🤔 Either way, finding zen in gardens from my travels...for now. 🌺 #gardening #community

Marjory Stoneman Douglas was 57 when her book helped create Everglades National Park! At 108, her ashes were scattered in the ecosystem she fought to save. Her legacy? You're never too old to make a difference. #Everglades #EnvironmentalLegacy #MarjoryStonemanDouglas
