Took me a while but I finally drew a little portrait of Momo to frame and put on my wall. She had a really piercing & deliberate stare so I tried to depict that in my drawing. It was done with colour pencils & pen.

The harp frightened him at first but I think he’s getting used to it as long as I play softly for now

After losing my dear Momo I wasn’t ready for another cat. However, I can’t say no to an animal in need. My grandma fed and caught this stray and my mum wants him, but she needs me to care for him until she can get him. So for now, I have a new cat. Vet visit booked Monday.

I’m finding so many ways I altered my daily habits to accomodate Momo. The position I slept in, where I sat, what I planted, the furniture I had & placement, little rituals for when I went out and when I came back home. It’s very hard to break those patterns after 13 years.

The skink came back to eat Momo’s cat food and I got right up to its face for a pic and the flash went off
