Happy birthday, everyone!

On this day, in 1845, the Queen’s Colleges of Belfast, Cork and Galway were formally brought into existence.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make Queen's the special place it is.

Thanks for the info. That's very unfortunate. I just can't understand how such an educated and knowledgeable person can end up doing these things. Disappointing to say the least.

What? What's happened? Googled him and found nothing. I've always been a huge fan of Fry. Will be sad if he's gone all right wing and weird...I can't imagine he has??

I think the image of his book there is the 2nd edition, which I proudly own, it was my go-to during my undergrad years and still have it today. How many of us were furnished with his Archaeology: Theories, Methods and Practice text book at 1st year undergrad and went on using it? Many I suspect.

This is very sad news. How many of us were furnished with his Archaeology: Theories, Methods and Practice text book at 1st year undergrad? I still have my copy, 2nd edition, it was an old edition even back when I was using it for my undergrad degree, but still very useful. Still is today.

I saw it on a standard Odeon screen, think they all have Dobly these days? I reckon seeing it at an IMAX would be even better though !
