Had a bit of good news today. Pretty happy with that.
Ooooo! I haven’t! But I will add it to my Christmas list.
Me too, mate. Created an obsession with Celtic mythology and 2000ad that I still have to this day. And that I passed on to my kids too.
Some of the most iconic artwork that I grew up with. Loved Bisley’s Slaine work too!
Professor Brian Cox covers these latest discoveries beautifully in his new docu series, The Solar System.
Worth a watch if you haven’t already.
Love this, Brad! I’ve found by working on a few projects simultaneously, I get myself over that act 2 hump where I begin to lose faith in the project & question my ability.
At least, that’s how I justify it to myself. It’s nothing to do with me not being able to decide where to focus. Honest.
Received some great news today.
I entered Birdie Pictures/Matriarch Productions’ Grass Routes script comp last December, & assumed my application hadn’t gotten anywhere.
Just heard that I’m through to the next round of reading – top 20% of entries. Happy with that!
Glad to Brad. I think what you’re doing is awesome.
Absolutely love what Brad is championing with The Grey List.
If you’re a screenwriter over 40, or if you believe in a fellow talented writer with tons of valuable life experience, you should consider entering a submission.
What do you have to lose?
Bucket list item ticked off, watching these guys utterly smash it at Manchester Academy 2 tonight. Only been waiting 17 years to see them live.
Aw, love that, mate.
You’ve worked hard to enjoy your retirement.
Doing great thanks, Stewart. Busy year, but enjoyable. Looking forward to getting some downtime at Christmas.
Thanks Stewart – hope you and the family are all good, mate.
Have a great day, mate.
Been a huge Bisley fan since his early days with 2000ad 30yrs ago. His Slaine artwork blew my young mind.
Hello mate! Great to see you - hope you’re good, man. Yes! You’re right about getting Tess on here too
Ooooo… will give this a watch today
Thanks Karen!
Can honestly say I’m more than a little staggered by the festival response to my feature script ‘A Drawer Full of Socks and NOT a Single Pair’.
This makes it 4 competition wins & finalist in another.
Thanks to everyone on the panel at Chicago Script Awards for deeming me worthy of winning.
Love those shows!
