This is one of 64 free commissions I will be taking this year in order to practice paid commissions and drawing new things! I started this on March 8th and finished it on April 4th... (New) Nobuko Yamaguchi. She is in a chibi form and standing up with her arms off to her sides. She has long ivory hair, emerald eyes and two large dark blue discs on her head with one musical note hung on each side with a small hole. She is based off of frutiger aero aesthetics and has a light color palette consisting of ivory, yellow, light cyan, dusty orange, green, turquoise and various shades of a blackish gray.

(Old) Unnamed character that is standing with an open smiling mouth, wide eyes and arms out to her sides. She has a saturated color palette of cyan, dark navy, butter yellow, blue, green, white, vermillion, orange and various shades of gray. She has 2 discs on her head imitating animal ears. Her hair flows down to her waist and has 2 small globes in her long twintails that act as hair beads. Nobuko is stood in front of a blank saturated neon lime green background. Based on frutiger aero aesthetics and a Discord art contest that I didn't end up participating in. Drawn in a loose artstyle and possesses vague panda elements mixed with Chinese culture via her outfit. Originally, she was Chinese, but now she is a Japanese child that appreciates Chinese culture more than her own.

I finished this redesign today and I think she looks a lot better, her colors are more cohesive and she looks cuter. Now, she also has a name, Nobuko Yamaguchi!

I'm practicing by drawing different body types. From anorexia to obesity. I've always wanted to draw diverse body types, but most of my characters are female. Male anatomy is a different can of worms...

I tried to make a Kirin dragon outfit and one for collecting forbidden artifacts blending a Kirin and a Hummingbird Hawk Moth. She has a fighting style of capoeira and Wing Chun to compliment her personality.
