Eva, Lucas, Oliver & Sara would like to say hello!
With the power of #Spine2D we now have a single skeleton powering all 4 playable characters in #Evolytes as part of our ongoing visual overhaul!

For someone like me who has not worked specifically on a save system before, could you elaborate further?
I can think of a number of reasons but I'd love to know if I'm right :D

This is Lucas, one of our playable characters, he's the slightly brash leader of the pack that tries his best to solve conflict with words first, then if that fails, action!

I think that entirely depends on what you're going for. But seeing as how you've never done a group project I'll venture to suggest you try it out, because broadening your horizons is always good for personal and professional growth 😁

(But let's also see what your working with!)

Stuff like this is always iteration work πŸ˜ƒ
Work on it to the best of your abilities and then take it around and show it off to other people here and elsewhere and get feedback, rinse and repeate 😁
I'm not a write but a game designer and I'd be happy to offer what help I can!

Time to show off our indie support purchases on the #Steam #AutumnSale πŸ€‘πŸ₯³
For me I finally got #TinyThor off my whishlist!
Extremely excited to play it on the #Steamdeck

You're only bad at things the first time you do them! After that it's just a gradual increase in skill and or confidence πŸ˜€

(Also, favorite Flash Game of all time?)

My start in game dev was a little like that as well!
Heard a brilliant childhood friend of mine was going to make a game and came to him to invest in the idea.
He said nahh, but you can come make it with me.

"My devlog series was meant to be viewed in order of upload date"

See now I HAVE watch it in reverse and see a talented developer slowly dismantle a good looking game! So sad 😒

Presumably that was one hell of a boss!

That's cool!
It might be a little controversial to some but I'd say the only difference is your stories have inherently more freedom!

(You have some work examples to check out btw? Love me some TTRP!)

Make it work with what ever you got! πŸ˜ƒ
Most of my old Yu-Gi-Oh and PokΓ©mon cards now serve as structural integrity for the child like scribbles on A4 paper I call prototypes

(It's only the common ones, no shinies I promise)

While I wholeheartedly agree, what do you do when your readers are "dumb" kids that only care about poop jokes and the banana man from Fortnite?

We need to see some examples plz!

Making games is hard. But something I have encountered lately is that finding good people to make it with can be even harder...
Any tips, tricks or unsolicited fiddlesticks?

Today I spent 3 hours adding 30 seconds to a video. It's taken me almost two weeks to get to the 5 min mark.
Time's a funny thing ayh?
