To anyone who thinks someone else’s world will be better off without you: just because someone is happy doesn’t mean that they are happier without you. Their happiness does not negate the grief you leave behind.

I’ve made many friends in their absence, who support me and bring joy to my life. But that does not mean these new friends fill the giant hole in my heart they left behind. Beside joy, I still carry grief for their absence every day.

The dear person who first got me into this game that I love so much, was not there with me. Things fell apart, painfully.

Been trying to put this feeling to pen for a while now. For the very first time, I am finally caught up with the storyline for FFXIV, ever since I first started playing about 4 years ago.
