New outline/ice mask of the Greenland outsheet published!
Highly detailed, accurate, and reliable ice sheet outline mapped from satellite data from August 2022.
Data set and paper is (finally) out in journal Earth Systems Science Data.

🔬 New research! We studied epilithic biofilms in Greenlandic streams across a large climate gradient to uncover what shapes these microbial communities. Water temp, nutrients & catchment slope were key drivers! 🌍❄️🏔️ Curious? Full story ⬇️ enviromicro-journals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/...

Out today! The results of an awesome multidisciplinary collaboration of dozens of scientists across the globe (including me, in a very minor role)! A rockfall into a glacier into a fjord in Greenland caused a tsunami and seiche that generated a monotonic seismic signal for 9(!) days!
Our study on landslide-initiated tsunamis is out!
We find evidence of giant, prehistoric tsunamis coming from Vaigat strait, in the lakes of Saqqaq, W Greenland.
Thanks for the enjoyable collaboration to all involved: Kristian, Anne Sofie, Gregor, Mimmi, & Nicolaj!
