I don’t think I suggested they did. I just suggested it might be less binary and more complex than could be fixed a crude planning tool more intended to control types of development rather than property ownership.

The underlying issue being the lack of competitive jobs and industries for locals to work in an area that is remote from infrastructure and the wider economy. If there local
jobs market was thriving there house prices wouldn’t be on the floor to picked up by the Cheshire set to wreck the coastline.

It does feel more nuanced than this. When tourism has become the main show in town, and redevelopment of second homes the only thing employing local trades, and the Article 4 causes further contraction of the local economy and doesn’t solve the underlying issue.
